Tongala’s Biggest Treasure Hunt!

Tongala Town-Wide Garage Sale

A Town Full of Treasures!

Tongala became one big treasure hunt on Saturday 3 October, with 63 participating sites and bargain hunters arriving from across the region for the 2026 Town-Wide Garage Sale.

With 49 home sales, nine car boot sites and five farm properties, there was plenty to explore. Furniture, tools, toys and collectibles found new homes, with some shoppers heading back for trailers to collect their bigger purchases!

The CFA kept bargain hunters fuelled, while the Tongala Primary School Parents & Friends sold out their bake sale at the kiosk.

Thank you to everyone who hosted a sale, volunteered, shopped and helped make the day such a success.

More Treasure Hunting in 2027

Our annual Town-Wide Garage Sale returns in October 2027. Whether you’re planning a clear-out or love finding an unexpected bargain, keep an eye on Visit Tongala for the confirmed date and registration details.

One town. Plenty of bargains. A great day out.
